Harbor Island is a quiet Lowcountry hidden gem where the soundtrack is the ocean and local birdlife. Your stay includes a complimentary golf cart, paddleboards, boogie boards, beach toys, pickleball and tennis gear, ping-pong, air hockey, board games, and a Hunting Island State Park pass.

Main-level primary suite

The spacious first-floor primary retreat features a king bed, 65-inch smart TV, large walk-in closet, and private balcony for morning coffee. Its spa-like ensuite bathroom includes dual showers, a freestanding soaking tub, and a double vanity.

Upper-level bedrooms and lounge

The second primary suite has a king bed, 55-inch smart TV, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The Panorama Room offers a king bed surrounded by five large windows with unobstructed views. The Octopus Lounge provides a pull-out sofa, 55-inch smart TV, books, board games, and playful coastal artwork.

Family and entertainment rooms

The Entertainment Loft is ideal for kids and teens, with three twin sleeping spaces, including a pull-out, plus a convertible sofa bed, 43-inch smart TV, games, and toys. The Junior Suite features two bunk-style twin beds and additional toys and games. Altogether, the home has four full bathrooms with modern walk-in showers and premium finishes.

Living room and chef’s kitchen

The open-concept kitchen centers around an impressive 11.5-foot quartz island and large walk-in pantry. It is stocked with the cooking essentials needed for family meals. In the main living area, a spacious 12-foot sectional offers plenty of room for movie nights around the 60-inch smart TV. A laundry room is conveniently located near the kitchen.

Harbor Island amenities

Guests can enjoy the community pool, fitness center, two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, basketball, beach volleyball, a children’s playground, three-hole mini golf, two bird-watching decks, and two fishing and crabbing docks. The community pool is scheduled to operate seasonally from April 1 through October 31. An on-site general store carries everyday essentials.

Parking and Harbor Island gate passes

The home has parking for five or more vehicles. Harbor Island charges a gate fee for every vehicle. Two vehicle passes are included with each stay; additional passes may be purchased for the following island-management fees:

• Day pass: $25
• 2 nights: $35
• 3 nights: $45
• 4 nights: $55
• 5 nights: $65
• 6 nights: $75
• 7 nights: $85
• 8–30 nights: $140
• Boat or trailer: an additional $10 per day

Gate-pass prices are set by Harbor Island management and may change.

Guest access and coastal note

Guests have access to the entire home except for one locked owner’s closet. As with many coastal destinations, tiny no-see-ums can occasionally be active around sunrise and sunset. Bug spray is provided, and guests may wish to bring their preferred insect repellent for outdoor time.
